EARN ENOUGH TO HELP THOSE WHO CANNOT HELP THEMSELVES
Back in 2012 while sitting in the audience, these were the very words I heard from the Money Queen of America.
‘Earn enough to help those who cannot help themselves.’
WOW! That really made sense.
Suze Orman burst on to the stage announcing that no one in Australia knew who she was. I certainly hadn’t. But she inspired me as there was a personal meet when she sat near me in the audience and I said something to her.
The Hay House I Can Do It event was outstanding and this one was my first attendance of two. Sadly they no longer run them.
What amazed me about Suze is how she dug her way out of debt, not once but twice and numerous figures that I would not have slept a wink. (Check out her books in the library, You Tube or online as she hosted a Television show for many years).
One thing she did mentioned about helping others was the fact that she paid $25,000 US dollars a month to give her mum the best care, like nurses in her own home until the day she died.
While many people are hanging out for their parents inheritance, instead of working and achieving their own goals to give the life to others.
It’s TRUE.
In life we never know what’s around the corner with our parents health or a sudden marriage ending in their ‘60’s that causes money to disappear. It’s important to work on our own goals and take care of own lives, and not give our power away.
Like I did.
My goal as teenager was to get married and have kids! Well I did the first part and found I wasn’t born to live on a farm as a housewife, for sure.
But since the day I met Suze I found that quote rang alarm bells.
Because it is time to come together and care for those who are less fortunate.
Even if it is our dear parents.
Don’t you think?
