MIRRORS AND LIP READING

Would you believe that mirrors are way to communicate? I kid you not that mirrors and lip reading was a way of life back when in the day when I was doing hairdresser apprenticeship.

Whereas once my secret was out that I was to lip read and jealous people often told others to be careful.  Mirrors where my ally any day I was not able to be near the person.

Once particular day there were status flowers for sale outside our door at the hairdressers and I watched how a person was drawn to buy them and the side kick coached the friend away and I knew exactly what was going on and I could not hear a damn word through that glass door!

Other times when I was supposed to be shampooing the customers hair and I would understand the conversations of my co-workers just by watching the mirror. While it was handy because of the layout of all the mirrors, it would have been ideal to use telepathy but hey I had no idea what that was back then.

While those two years taught me a lot about working with mirrors it set me up to learn the secrets of knowing how to know what others are saying, especially those who don’t have their best interest for you. As when others talk behind your back, it’s not kind.

Lip reading was something I have got so used to and extremely hard to habit to move out of, it’s my gift. Hopefully soon my hearing will return then I can help others communicate at another level.
