Whonever walked into a book shop and physically felt someone with you? I had this experience with Hannah Kent’s first book called ‘Burial Rites.’ Then to the unexpected I actually met her a few years later. Seriously, our who life is a neverending story… things come and go in life until we learn to fix the mirror within us and not the reflection. There are many occasions when people leave a trail of broken promises. While you may not realise, many of these trait start from in the childhood, it certainly did for me as my parents promised to do this or that as a way to bluff you. Ever since the year the house mate moved out with his telly, I never realised how much the AFL Grand Finale had an affect on me. That’s when I discovered when I missed the telly the most. Now I have worked through those issues to 2020 being a year of challenges that lead me to accept that by the changes, I really wasn’t bothered with it. Seriously while living alone with no television and not being able to visit friends in a lockdown made it clear. Follow the journey. Enjoy.
Who loved The Muppets as a kid in the 80’s? We certainly did as family back then when it hit the television scene around dinner time! Then the repeats over the years which we never bore of. But it’s the teachings that come with the show that stay with us. Just like this revamp of The Muppet movie that is a pure joy to watch because the children of the 80’s just get how all the characters performed. Stayed the same I guess. How things have changed for a life of a hearing impaired child growing up not knowing the sound of bells ore sirens. Have you ever thought about the tings you took for granted as a person with full hearing to someone that was born profoundly deaf. Learn how my parents realised something was different about me.
How many of you know the real story behind my name? Often we are given names we may not like or a hyphen one that people shorten without a second thought. The Haunted Mansion film is a great one for learning - never to fail at life. Learning to trust is a vital key in life and healing. Once we let go of fear we aim for the best.
